Cafe Wants Player Ban Lifted
Owners of a restaurant near the Dallas Cowboys’ headquarters in Irving, Texas, are pleading with team owner Jerry Jones to rescind a ban that keeps players out of the eatery.
The owners, including former Cowboy stars Tony Dorsett and Everson Walls, say they’re losing $50,000 a month because of the ban and will sue Jones if he doesn’t respond.
The cafe used to be a popular hangout for players, and that in turn brought in customers.
Jones, however, banned players from the restaurant as part of his effort to clean up the team’s image.
