A Fun, Safe Halloween
* It was distressing to read about the trick-or-treaters who were robbed at knifepoint in Irvine (Nov. 2).
In my neighborhood, we had our usual 500 kids for Halloween. Many came with their parents. The children were happy, polite and well-behaved. A good time was had by all.
My advice to parents in Irvine is if you want your kids to be safe next Halloween, bring them to Santa Ana.
