New merchants have been moving to Rodeo Drive as sales rise to levels not seen since the late 1980s. Here is a list of recent store make-overs, openings and expansions.
Openings
* Hugo Boss: Apparel, acessories and other merchandise; Opened June 1.
* Frederic Fekkai: Beauty salon; open Friday.
* Hermes: Apparel, accessories, crystal, gifts; reopened Sept. 16 at larger site.
* Tommy Hilfiger: Apparel, acessories and other merchandise; opens today.
* Holland & Holland: Apparel, acessories and other merchandise; opened Oct. 30.
* LaCoste: Izod merchandise; opens later this year.
* Lladro: Porcelein collectibles; opened March 26.
* Prada: Men’s clothing story; Opening to be announced.
Make-Overs
* Ferragamo: Expanded men’s apparel section.
* Gucci: Remodel and major expansion underway; Adding two floors.
* Guess: Two adjacent Guess stores combined into one facility.
* Frances Klein Estate Jewels: Reconfiguration underway; Installing new displays and remodeling the facade.
* Ermenegildo Zegna: Expansion underway; creating larger store by taking over an adjoining space.
