ON TV
Minnesota (8-2) at Detroit (4-6), 10 a.m., Channel 11: Barry Sanders has topped the 100-yard mark in eight consecutive games and had better make it nine if the Lions are to have any chance against the Vikings, who have won six in a row.
The Line: Minnesota by 2
* Washington (6-4) at Dallas (5-5), 1 p.m., Channel 11: The Redskins are tied with the Giants for first place in the NFC East and can probably end Dallas’ playoff hopes. The Cowboys, who have an assignment in Green Bay next week, have already lost this season to the Redskins.
The Line: Dallas by 6
* Oakland (3-7) at San Diego (4-6), 5 p.m., ESPN: The Raiders lost early on because their defense failed them. But now they are miserable on both sides of the ball. Running back Napoleon Kaufman has been shut down the last two games, and went nowhere earlier this season in a 25-10 loss to the Chargers. San Diego starts Craig Whelihan at quarterback, and will rely on running back Gary Brown.
The Line: Pick ‘em
