The Southern Section preliminaries, which will determine who competes in the section finals, will be Saturday at Mt. San Antonio College.
The first race of the day, beginning at 7:30, is a Division I girls’ race featuring Dana Hills, Capistrano Valley and Los Alamitos among the entered schools.
The last race of the day, beginning at 4:11 p.m., is a Division II boys’ race featuring county entries Brea Olinda, Mission Viejo, Santa Margarita, Santiago and Valencia.
