Cal Lutheran University’s American Musical Theatre Ensemble, a joint venture between the drama and music departments, will give its inaugural performance later this month.
The 15 students will perform scenes and solos from Broadway shows such as “Guys and Dolls,” “West Side Story,” “Oklahoma!” “City of Angels” and “Chicago.”
The performance, at 4 p.m. Nov. 22, will be co-directed by Andrew Parks of the music department and Richard De Benedictis of the drama department.
The event at Cal Lutheran’s Samuelson Chapel is free and open to the public. Donations to benefit both departments will be accepted.
For more information, contact Parks at 493-3821 or 493-3305.
