Girl Raises $1,949 for March of Dimes

Eighth-grader Jenna Nicoletti of Hilton D. Bell Intermediate School was recently honored as the county’s top youth fund-raiser in the WalkAmerica 1997 event for the March of Dimes.
The 13-year-old Garden Grove girl raised $1,949 for the organization’s Birth Defects Foundation, making her the top money-raiser in the county and 305th in the country.
More than 825,000 walkers from 1,500 communities participated in the annual event, which is the largest annual fund-raiser for the March of Dimes.
