Kaiser Reaches Agreement With Mission Viejo Hospital

All that growth in South County means patients aplenty for health plans.
Starting next year, for instance, Kaiser Permanente plans to offer certain health care services through a new agreement with Mission Hospital Regional Medical Center in Mission Viejo. The Kaiser Permanente medical group provides care to Kaiser health plan members.
Officials from Kaiser and Mission Hospital plan to offer details of a new service agreement next week. Assuming it receives regulatory approval, the agreement will become effective Jan. 1.
Separately, Kaiser Permanente has taken steps to offer more clinical services for South County members. The medical group is expanding its clinical offices in Irvine and Mission Viejo, will open a new facility in Aliso Viejo later this month, and is developing another in San Juan Capistrano.
