Kaynar, Its Divisions Name 3 Directors

* Craig Brown has been named director of operations for Microdot, a division of Kaynar Technologies Inc., a Fullerton manufacturer of specialty fasteners, fastening systems and components for aerospace and industrial product assembly. He is a former director of engineering at Kaynar, also a division of Kaynar Technologies. Menno D. Broersma is the new director of engineering for Kaynar. He joined the company in 1979 as product engineer for the design of fasteners for jet engines and was named chief engineer in 1984. Greg Harwell has been selected director of material for the company. He had been materials manager.

* Anthony J. Cianfaglione has been named vice president in the commercial real estate division of Union Bank of California. He is based in Irvine. Cianfaglione joined the bank in 1983 as a commercial loan officer in the service staff department.

* Vincent F. Sollitto Jr. has been elected to the board of Irvine Sensors Corp. in Costa Mesa. Sollitto is chief executive of Photon Dynamics Inc. in San Jose.

* Dirk Smith has been appointed market director for the Corner Bakery that will open this month at South Coast Plaza. He is formerly market director of the Corner Bakery’s downtown Chicago locations. Before that, he was president of a 64-unit Hot ‘n Now Franchise in Houston.
