Man Is Found Stabbed to Death
VAN NUYS — A 25-year-old man was found stabbed to death in a driveway on Delano Street early Monday, said police.
Det. James Rahm of the Los Angeles Police Department’s Van Nuys Division said police and firefighters responded simultaneously to a 911 call about 2:15 a.m. regarding an apparent assault victim.
Arriving officers said they found Franco Jose Antonio Cervantes, 25, in a driveway in the 14800 block of Delano, said Rahm. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The body had suffered several stab wounds, said Rahm.
Police did not have an address for the victim, but said he did not live at the address where his body was found.
