Performance Space to Open in Downtown
Glaxa DT, a downtown Los Angeles branch of Silver Lake-based Glaxa Studios performance space, opens today with a benefit cocktail party at 4:30 p.m.; performance art including the Rachel Rosenthal Company, Llyn Foulkes, the Dark Bob and others at 6:30 p.m.; and live bands at 10:30 p.m.
The space has been carved out of the lobby of an old hotel. The entrance is on Harlem Place, an alley just north of 3rd Street, between Spring and Main streets, behind the Paraiso Restaurant.
