Soaring Numbers: The Van Nuys Air Show was a big success. Planners say attendance skyrocketed to a record 325,000, up from 250,000 last year. They credit souped-up aerial demonstrations, good weather and the reappearance of the B-2 stealth bomber. “Plus the show has gained a reputation over the years of getting bigger and better,” said airport spokeswoman Stacy Geere. . . . Valley nonprofit groups will share $70,000 raised in concessions, $10,000 more than last year’s take.
