Campaign Cash
* When I read about illegal foreign contributions to the DNC (July 16), I think, “Well, given the way our campaigns are run, given the insatiable need for money our elections system produces, who can blame ambitious, determined politicians for raising cash any way they can?†It may be illegal, but frankly, I find this far less frightening than the idea of Henry Salvatori and a few like-minded tycoons pooling their cash to create Ronald Reagan out of whole cloth.
