High school oddballs are Nickelodeon heroes; ‘Gadget’ goes to the Smithsonian and to N.Y.

Viewers can go behind the scenes of the movie “Good Burger†(Nickelodeon, Sunday at 7 p.m.), which is based on Nickelodeon’s popular series “All That.†The comedy is about how two offbeat high school kids, Ed and Dexter (Kel Mitchell and Kenan Thompson), help a no-frills burger joint called Good Burger become a success. For ages 8-12.

Inspector Gadget is host, guide and comedian on a visit to Washington’s Smithsonian Institution and to the dinosaur exhibit at New York’s Museum of Natural History on Inspector Gadget’s Field Trip (History Channel, Sunday at 7 a.m.). For ages 6 to 11.

Kids’ WB! goes Hollywood on Saturday. Daffy Duck visits the Warner Bros. Studio searching for movie stars on “The Daffy Duck Show†(8 a.m.). On “Animaniacs,†(8:30 a.m.), a naive woodchuck from Kansas comes to Hollywood in search of stardom. When Lex Luthor escorts Lana Lang, Clark Kent’s good friend, to a star-studded fashion show on “Superman†(9 a.m.), trouble ensues. Later, on “The Sylvester & Tweety Mysteries†(11:30 a.m.), a Bing Crosby-sounding parrot joins Sylvester to capture Tweety, who has “gone Hollywood†and taken on Sinatra-like affectations. For ages 5 to 7.

“Katie and Orbie†(Disney Channel, weekdays at 9:30 a.m.) is an animated series narrated by Leslie Nielsen. It follows “first-time experiences†of Katie, 5, and Orbie, her pink friend from another planet. During one of Monday’s episode, Katie learns to smack open a pinata during Orbie’s birthday. Another animated series follows the adventures of “Madeline,†the little Parisian school girl (Disney Channel, weekdays at 11:30 a.m.). On Tuesday’s episode, Madeline is able to save the boarding house from the wrecking ball. For ages 2 to 5.
