The Irvine-based Orange County Community Foundation has awarded a total of $67,000 to six local arts groups to support youth education programming. The groups and grant amounts are: Pacific Symphony Orchestra, $20,000; the Paul McNeff Singers, $15,000; Orange County Performing Arts Center, $10,000; St. Joseph Ballet, $10,000; Pacific Chorale, $7,000; Opera Pacific, $5,000. The grants were drawn from a pool of funds managed by the charitable foundation created by several donors’ contributions.
