CardioVascular Dynamics Inc.: The Irvine medical-products company reported a net loss for the second quarter of $589,000, or 6 cents a share, compared with a net loss of $770,000, or 13 cents a share, for the 1996 second quarter. Revenue advanced 89% to $3.4 million from $1.8 million. For the six months, the company’s net loss was $1.2 million, or 13 cents a share, compared with a net loss of $1.1 million, or 22 cents a share, for the first half last year. Revenue increased 68% to $6.4 million from $3.8 million.
