21 Complexes of 5 Units or More Sold in 18 Months

A total of 21 apartment complexes with at least five units were sold in Ventura County in the last 18 months, with sales prices per unit ranging from $29,687 to $101,318, according to a report by a Ventura real estate firm.
The market survey by Thomas Associates included the cities of Ventura, Oxnard, Thousand Oaks, Santa Paula and Simi Valley. Cities not included had no sales.
Thousand Oaks had the highest average cost per unit, with two sales averaging $89,547 per unit. The lowest average cost per unit was in Santa Paula, which had a $39,166 average.
The greatest number of sales took place in Oxnard, with 11 averaging $39,575 per unit.
