As a senior citizen who has been bemoaning the lack of good TV on Saturday nights, I am thrilled to know that a first-rate show such as “The Practice” will be appearing on Saturday (“You Can’t Always Get What You Want,” June 28).
Does David E. Kelley think that everyone goes out on Saturday night? I don’t know from where the TV industry compiles its statistics, but there are many senior citizens as well as couples who can’t afford a baby-sitter, who do not go out on Saturday night and would appreciate some decent TV programs to enjoy. I can think of nothing better to do when at home than to watch a show like “The Practice.” Don’t worry, David Kelley. If the show is good, as it has been, you will have many devoted watchers such as my husband and myself.
