BET to Air Gala Jazz Museum Opening

Harry Belafonte and Billy Dee Williams will host the Kansas City Jazz Museum’s gala grand opening concert, “Goin’ to Kansas City,” on the Black Entertainment Television cable network Saturday at 2 p.m.
The concert features performances by artists including Al Jarreau, Kevin Mahogany, David Sanborn and Tony Bennett.
The event captures the September 1997 opening of the Kansas City Jazz Museum and the restoration of the historic district at 18th and Vine in Kansas City.
