Hefner Joins Crowd at Garden of Eden

Hugh Hefner, who we’re told rarely leaves his mansion, felt the urge to reacquaint himself with Hollywood night life. The Playboy mogul recently held court at Garden of Eden, declining any special treatment, and showing no interest in being escorted into the upstairs VIP lounge (Interscope’s Ted Fields has his own table in Eden’s VIP lounge). Hef, however, took a table in the middle of the club near the raised bar area and enjoyed the company of Bunny hopefuls.
Goldfingers celebrates its first anniversary Friday, proving hard work and cool taste pays off. . . . Tempest, the supper club that used to reside at the Beverly Center, has relocated to Santa Monica Boulevard, at the former location of Checca, and it opens officially on Friday. It promises to stay open nightly until 4 a.m.!
