Visual Effects Company Hires 3 New Executives

Available Light Ltd., a Burbank-based visual effects company, has hired several new executives.

* Gretchen Wieland was named post-production supervisor for the company’s Digital Effects Division. Wieland had been a post-production supervisor for Walt Disney Pictures.

* Scott Coulter was named senior 3-D animator. He had been a freelance artist and worked on digital effects for Walt Disney and Warner Bros. films.

* Charles Lamb is Available Light’s systems supervisor. Lamb had worked for Cineric Inc. in New York and had supervised digital retouching for the films “Striptease� and “Michael.�
