Kevin Sorbo, TV’s Hercules and star of “Kull the Conqueror,” opening Friday
A Feast: I love going to Marix Tex Mex restaurant on Pacific Coast Highway on Friday evenings for a very large pitcher of margaritas, tons of chips and salsa and a huge combo of burritos, enchiladas and soft tacos.
A Lady: Many nights my lady, Sam Jenkins, and I will go to a movie on the Promenade or in Century City. I like all kinds of movies, including action flicks. But I’m always a sucker for a good romantic comedy.
A Feat: I’m an early-morning person, so I’m usually up by 5:30 a.m. First I go to the Omelette Parlor in Santa Monica for a big breakfast of French toast with egg whites and a chicken breast. Then I go to Gold’s Gym, stretch for 30 minutes, work out for an hour and a half, and then go to the bike path and roller-blade for an hour. I never mind working out. It’s a total stress reliever.
A Quiet Night: Saturday nights, I either chill out with my lady, go to a friend’s house or have a barbecue at my house. I’m not a real night person. I would rather not go out to the bars or clubs and have a mellow night with good conversation instead. I love to cook and sometimes I’ll cook pasta with Italian sausage and tomato sauce made from scratch.
A Hero Never Rests: Sunday nights are video nights and nights when I try to relax. We might go eat somewhere outside, like the Ivy. But, generally, I have trouble being able to be lazy. There is something in me that keeps me wound up, and I can’t even relax when I do have the time.
