Panel to Hold Hearing on Design of Proposed Park
Residents will have a chance tonight to have a say in the planning of a park on newly purchased residential property.
The West Hollywood Public Facilities Commission will hold the first of a series of public meetings on the half-acre park, to be established at 1000 N. Kings Road.
The property, once slated for a condominium development, was bought by the city in February, said Sam Baxter, landscape and building maintenance manager.
It now holds two single-family houses and a small studio. Community suggestions will influence whether the structures remain or are torn down, Baxter said.
The meeting will be held at 7:30 p.m. at West Hollywood Park Auditorium, 647 N. San Vicente Blvd.
