Lake Cleanup? Just Do the Math
Re “A Shore Thing,” Aug. 8, on neighborhoods divided over lake cleanups in Lake Forest:
Solution: Since one-fifth of Lake Forest residents have use of the lakes, the city should pay 20% of the $2-million project, or $400,000.
The 12,000 homeowners with access to the lakes will pay $133 each, or $1.6 million.
Seems like a nonissue to me.
