Tests of altitude warning systems at 193 U.S. airports found errors in computer software functions at two of them, the Federal Aviation Administration said. The FAA tested the systems at U.S. airports after the National Transportation Safety Board’s investigation of the Korean Air crash in Guam raised questions about the performance of the system at the Pacific island’s airport. The agency found software errors at Fayetteville, N.C., and Florence, S.C. “These have been corrected and recertified,” the FAA said.
