Public Workshop Set on Parks, Recreation
City officials, seeking help in planning long-term recreation programs and park projects, will hold the second in a series of public workshops Thursday.
“We want our citizens to be involved and get input for the long-term future of our recreation programs,” Human Services Director Joseph Donofrio said.
The 7 p.m. workshop on the recreation master plan will be at City Hall, 23161 Lake Center Drive. City officials say the master plan also will help them compete for grants and improve parks and facilities.
A third workshop will be scheduled in the coming months, along with a telephone survey of residents. Information: (714) 461-3450.
