Giving Belated Credit Where It’s Due

We at the Huntington Library enjoyed David Ulin’s recent article on Nathanael West (“He Foresaw History,” July 30).
We were disappointed to note, however, that the material pictured in the accompanying photo was not attributed to its source. The photograph of West and the manuscript page from “The Day of the Locust” are part of an extensive collection of literary manuscripts from the holdings of the Huntington.
