Grays Harbor Beats the Vigilantes, 10-9
Grays Harbor used just three hits to score nine runs in the sixth inning to erase an eight-run deficit in a 10-9 victory over the Vigilantes Saturday at Olympic Stadium in Hoquiam, Wash.
The big hits in the inning were a three-run homer by Mark Kingston and a three-run double by Chris Grubb. The Vigilantes (11-13) walked four and hit two batters in the inning.
Alan Burke hit his 18th homer of the season in the fourth inning, a three-run shot, and Bret Barberie and Cory Parker also homered for the Vigilantes.
Pat O’Connor, in his first game since being acquired from the Gulls in a trade, went hitless in five at-bats and scored a run for the Vigilantes.
