Zodiac update--One constant in the Zodiac’s spotty inaugural season has been the team’s success against El Paso. The Zodiac beat the Patriots, 1-0, in overtime at Santa Ana Stadium in the season opener. It also beat the Patriots, 2-1, June 7 in Santa Ana and won, 2-1, June 13 in El Paso. Orange County has shown improvement lately, winning two of its last three games, including a 3-2 overtime victory over Atlanta Friday in Santa Ana.

Patriot update--El Paso is in last place in the Pacific Division, five points behind the Zodiac, but the Patriots are coming off one of their best results of the season, a 3-2 overtime victory over the powerful Colorado Foxes Aug. 2.
