Too Many Cops for Safe Thousand Oaks
* Thousand Oaks, the second-safest city in the country, has recently been overpopulated with law enforcement. Why is this?
We have the reputation of being safe and showing maturity whenever necessary. Why would we have more law enforcement when crime is at an all-time low?
By putting more law enforcement on the streets, we are causing the taxpayers to shell out more money.
I am concerned why we are spending money on more police when we don’t have a nice community park to use, or a place for our teenagers to go dancing to music other than country.
Who would want to be a cop? Not I.
