FDA Warns of Risks of ‘Skin-Cap’ Product

The FDA warned psoriasis patients to immediately contact a doctor if they are using a treatment called “Skin-Cap” because it secretly contains powerful steroids that can cause serious side effects. But users should stop with a doctor’s help or they could face a life-threatening flare-up of the skin disease. Other side effects include diabetes and psychosis, the FDA warned.
