* Re a reader’s complaint (letters, July 24) about the $20 entrance fee to Yosemite National Park. I find the fee to be more than reasonable. The $20 is per automobile, not per person, and allows access to the park for a period of seven days. Once you are in the valley, there is free tram service to take you to most points of interest.
You cannot even take your family to the movies for an afternoon for $20, much less a sporting event or an amusement park. I was in Yosemite in May and it was absolutely breathtaking.
