Information Sought in Fatal Hit-and-Run

Oxnard Police Department traffic investigators are looking for any information related to a fatal hit-and-run accident in March.
Killed in the March 12 accident was 52-year-old Thomas Avila Magana of Oxnard, who was hit while crossing Saviers Road just north of Clara Street, a police spokesman said.
Magana was walking outside the crosswalk when he was hit, according to police reports. Witnesses reported seeing a white Nissan Pathfinder strike Magana.
Police are seeking information about that Nissan Pathfinder or other people who witnessed the accident. Anyone with information is asked to call Investigator Joe Kaniewski at 385-7750.
