Premier Brands Inc.: The Huntington Beach developer and marketer of sports cards and collectibles reported a net loss of $687,807, or $1.67 a share, for 1996, which included an inventory write-down of approximately $461,000. That compares with a net loss of $79,320, or 35 cents a share, for 1995. Revenue declined 35% to $688,940 from $1.1 million. The company said it is completing its transition from a catalog retailer to a direct marketer of its products.
