Bouchet joined the bank in 1982 as vice president and manager of the head office in downtown Ventura. He is credited with the growth of that branch by helping to expand its customer base to include many of the oil-related businesses in the Ventura Avenue area. Bouchet was promoted to his most recent position, senior vice president and chief credit officer, in 1992.
Joyce Touchette, the bank’s new assistant vice president, loan administration, will assume some of Bouchet’s duties. Touchette join the bank in February after a 20-year career with the Bank of A Levy. She will be based at the Mills Road branch.
Jody Cooper was named assistant vice president and assistant manager for the County Center branch in Ventura. Cooper joined the bank as a lending officer in February 1996.
American Commercial Bank, the largest independent bank headquartered in Ventura County, has three branches in Ventura and one in Camarillo.
