The city has given the Tustin Historical Society $5,700, a year’s rent for the group’s headquarters and museum.
David Bryant, president of the society, said the group is having its most successful year in terms of museum attendance and school group visitation.
Proceeds from the sales of historian Carol Jordan’s book, “Tustin: A City of Trees,” will enable the historical society to purchase its first computer, Bryant said.
