Vigilantes, Bend Split Two Games

The Vigilantes won the nightcap of a doubleheader, 7-4, to earn a split at Bend, Ore., in Western League baseball Wednesday night.
Bend won the first game, 4-1, a makeup game after it was rained out Tuesday night. The Vigilantes (7-5) are in first place in the Southern Division with a game lead over Sonoma County. Bend is 5-7. The teams are scheduled to complete the series tonight.
