CityBird to Begin Nonstop Flights to Brussels

Belgian airline CityBird today begins nonstop flights from Los Angeles International Airport to Brussels, with one-way fares starting at $294 in its “Colibri” (French for hummingbird) economy class. One-way fares in “Royal Eagle” business class start at $774. CityBird, which will fly out of LAX on Tuesdays and Saturdays on new MD-11 aircraft, offers the only nonstop flight to Brussels from L.A. The subsidiary of City Hotels, a Brussels-based hotel operator, began service in March and now flies to Brussels from Mexico City, Miami, Orlando and Newark. Once-a-week flights begin Saturday from Oakland.
