CHATSWORTH — A 19-year-old woman was critically injured in a three-car collision Sunday night at a Chatsworth intersection, authorities said.
The unidentified woman suffered head injuries and a broken leg in the crash at De Soto Avenue and Tulsa Street. She was taken to Northridge Hospital Medical Center, said Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Bob Collis.
A 30-year-old woman riding in the second vehicle, who was seven months pregnant, complained of abdominal pain and was taken to Kaiser Foundation Hospital in Woodland Hills, Collis said. Her two sons, ages 7 and 3, were not injured.
No injuries were reported among the occupants of the third car, Collis said.
The accident, which occurred at 7:15 p.m., remained under investigation late Sunday by the Los Angeles Police Department’s Valley Traffic Division.
