5 County Teams to Hit the Road for Next Round
Five of the seven Orange County teams left in the Southern Section softball playoffs will play outside the county Tuesday in the semifinals.
The only local game matches fourth-seeded Mater Dei against top-seeded Foothill at Canyon High in the Division I semifinal. All games involving local teams begin at 3:15 p.m.
In Division II, top-seeded Woodbridge plays fourth-seeded Cerritos at at Cerritos Regional Park. Top-seeded Pacifica plays unseeded Palm Desert in Division III at Indio High. Third-seeded Kennedy plays unseeded Glendora St. Lucy’s at Finkbiner Park in Glendora.
In Division V, second-seeded Calvary Chapel plays third-seeded Pomona Catholic at Greenbelt Park in Upland.
In Division VI, third-seeded St. Margaret’s plays second-seeded Boron at Homeland Park in Boron.
