Barring Smoking
It absolutely infuriates me that the people in government keep attacking smokers. I have been a smoker for 15 years, and I have always been considerate of the nonsmoking people in society. But enough is enough!
Smoking has been banned in just about every place. I have been very accepting of the new laws. I can certainly understand office buildings, restaurants, shopping malls and, as shocking as it was, bowling alleys.
But we must draw the line somewhere. It astounds me that now it is being banned in some bars. This is the last place where smoking people can go and enjoy a social atmosphere with other people.
Nonsmoking people have gotten their way with ruling it out of every other area in their public life. Leave us alone already! There are plenty of nonsmoking bars around, especially those inside restaurants, where nonsmokers can go to enjoy an evening out.
