Bob Eastwood shot a four-under-par 66 for a one-stroke lead after the first round of the $1-million Bell Atlantic Classic at Malvern, Pa. Bob Dickson, the 1967 U.S. and British Amateur champion, and John Bland, the 1996 Senior PGA Tour rookie of the year, had 67s. . . . Michele Redman shot a three-under 69 and took a one-stroke lead over Carin Hj Koch, Rosie Jones and Tammie Greer after two rounds of the $650,000 LPGA Corning Classic at Corning, N.Y. . . .
