Huntway Partners’ Revenue Rises 11%

Huntway Partners posted a first-quarter profit turnaround as its revenue rose 11%.
In the quarter that ended March 31, Huntway posted net income of $345,757, compared to a loss of $2.2 million in the same period a year earlier.
Revenue in the latest period rose to $19.1 million, up from $17.2 million a year earlier.
Huntway, based in Newhall, is a maker of asphalt used in road construction. It operates refineries in Wilmington and Benicia, Calif.
