Community Colleges Plan Ceremonies

More than 2,300 students will graduate from Oxnard, Ventura and Moorpark colleges Thursday and Friday. Another 580 degrees will be conferred when Cal Lutheran University holds its ceremony on Saturday.
Ventura College will hold its commencement at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in the large gym, with nearly 1,000 students eligible to receive associate degrees.
Commencement exercises will begin at 1 p.m Friday at Oxnard College in the Physical Education Complex. More than 400 students are eligible to graduate from Oxnard.
Moorpark will hold its graduation in the campus quad at 5 p.m. Friday. More than 900 students are eligible to graduate from Moorpark.
Receptions will be held at each of the colleges after the ceremonies for graduates and their guests.
The Cal Lutheran commencement is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. at Mt. Clef Stadium, with a baccalaureate service at 8:30 a.m. in Samuelson Chapel.
