Carnival, Talent Show Planned for May 9-11
The Canyon Spring Carnival and Talent Showcase will pack Anaheim Hills Plaza’s parking lot with carnival rides, games and entertainment today through Sunday.
The carnival, sponsored by the Canyon High School Band Boosters, will feature dance, band, gymnastics and martial arts performances by students.
Proceeds from the rides, games and food sales will go to help pay for uniforms, instruments and other music department expenses, band director Harold Witten said.
Witten said some spots are still available for performance groups of students 14 years old or younger on May 9 and 10.
The free public event will begin at 5 p.m. May 9 and close at 10 p.m. May 11. Anaheim Hills Plaza is at 430 S. Anaheim Hills Road.
