El Toro 3, Tustin 0--Susan Churchwell pitched a one-hitter for El Toro (12-3). Anne Skidmore had a double and Megan Smietana had a triple for the Chargers.

Santa Margarita 4, Long Beach Millikan 1--Kristen Morley walked with the bases loaded in the second inning to give Santa Margarita the lead for good. Pitcher Jackie Farmer improved to 8-2-1 as she won her second game of the day for the Eagles (9-2-1).

Danielle Richert had two hits and a run scored for Santa Margarita.

La Habra 2, Long Beach Millikan 0--Christina Gibbons had a double and Heather Tom had a triple for La Habra (10-4). Gibbons pitched five innings to record her eighth victory of the season.

Upland 1, Mission Viejo 0--Sarah Farnworth scored on Amy Pitkin’s single in the first inning as Upland held on to defeat Mission Viejo in pool play. Farnworth pitched a one-hitter with 15 strikeouts for Upland (10-3).

Mission Viejo finished the day with 30 strikeouts in two pool-play losses.

Irvine 4, Huntington Beach 0--Tyree Woodruff had three hits in a victory for Irvine (6-2). Pitcher Colleen Young pitched a four-hitter for her fourth victory of the season.

La Mirada 2, Mission Viejo 0--Kristi Martin had 15 strikeouts in pitching a no-hitter against Mission Viejo. Martin also hit a triple and had an RBI for La Mirada (7-1).

Newhall Hart 8, Westminster 6 (6, time limit)--Newhall Hart’s Danni Socha had two hits, two RBIs and threw two runners out at second attempting to steal. Jackie Bailey had two hits, including a triple, for Hart (9-2).

Westminster drops to 7-2-1 on the season.

Westminster 7, Aliso Niguel 0--Sisters Lacy and Kelly Hauxhurst each hit two-run home runs in a pool-play victory for Westminster. Ashley Maranto pitched a three-hitter in her second shutout of the season.

Trabuco Hills 3, Bellflower 0 (9)--Jessica Jarnigan pitched a three-hit shutout for Trabuco Hills. Three singles in the ninth inning scored the three runs for the Mustangs.

Megan Kirby had two hits for Trabuco Hills.

Bellflower’s Sherell Watson had 13 strikeouts.

Woodbridge 10, Trabuco Hills 1--Christy Clark hit a bases-loaded triple, and the fourth-ranked Warriors had two four-run innings. Christy Robitaille pitched a five-hitter.

Newhall Hart 5, Aliso Niguel 3--Tami Silva homered in the bottom of the seventh, and Aliso Niguel (4-7) had the tying run at the plate before its comeback from a 5-1 deficit ended.

Junior DeeDee Schur, who was hit in the helmet by a pitched ball, was taken to Irvine Medical Center after getting dizzy and losing her balance the next inning after fielding a ball at third base.
