Watley fulfilled her leadoff role with flair last week. She batted .583 (seven for 12) and scored six runs in Woodbridge’s four victories in the Tournament of Champions in Bullhead City, Ariz. Watley, the tournament MVP, scored the first run on a single and throwing error in 2-0 victory over top-seeded Scottsdale Chaparral.
