More than 200 people are expected to turn out for a cardiopulmonary resuscitation class sponsored by the American Red Cross today at the county fairgrounds in Ventura.
“Super CPR Saturday” will run from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and participants will learn rescue breathing and other techniques to aid an adult victim.
“CPR is such an important skill for everyone to learn,” said Paul Chatman, chairman of the Red Cross Ventura County chapter.
The cost of the course is $10 per person. Sign-ups will be taken at the event.
The fairgrounds are on Harbor Boulevard at Figueroa Street.
