NBC won the February sweeps, but for the second time this season, CBS placed first for the week in total viewers, narrowly edging out NBC with 15.2 million viewers to 15.1 million. The Grammy Awards was a key ingredient in the CBS win. During the four-week sweeps period, NBC’s “Tonight Showâ€achieved its highest rating since May 1993.
