Headquarters Moving
MISSION VIEJO — National Realty Trust, which operates 350 real estate offices nationwide under the Coldwell Banker and ERA brands, is moving its headquarters to Parsippany, N.J., to be close to franchise company HFS Inc.
About 16 managers will move out of the Mission Viejo office by June. National Realty’s chief executive, Robert Arrigoni, said that he will resign and remain in California.
Another 85 administrative, accounting and human resources employees will remain at Coldwell Banker’s corporate facility in Orange County.
National Realty Trust was created last year after HFS Inc. purchased Coldwell Banker. It is made up of all the former Coldwell Banker-owned franchises, plus some new acquisitions. Indeed, the company has been on an acquisition spree, buying real estate offices across the country with loans from HFS, which then licenses the locations under its Coldwell Banker and ERA brands.
